How do you get into a work furlough program in Ventura Co. if you are self employed?
Dose anybody know how this system works. If the judge says you can, then why is it so hard to qualify? What do you do to be acceepted into to work furlough and not have to go to jail?
I live in Ventura county and know someone that had their own business and had to say that he worked for his mothers company. If you have a business license it shouldn’t be that hard unless you are going from one job to the next, they like to know where you are at all times.

I’m not sure about ventura california, but here in south carolina, they do not offer furlough to new inmates anymore. My baby has been locked up for a long time now (since 89) and so he fell under the old law of being able to furlough out. I don’t know too much else about it …..sorry
