Online Dating, Intriguing Way To Meet New Friends
If soldiers cannot be bothered to head out on a date after a tiring day at work then meeting potential partners on dating networking sites could prove to be the best course of action.
“Dating online is an intriguing way to socialise without bothering about what to wear or where to take your date out,” states the Hindustan Times.
As any relationship develops, the publication advises that the first face-to-face meeting should take place in a public place. Then if the date turns out to be a failure, at least a speedy exit can be made.
Similarly, it is suggested that soldiers should only swap mobile phone numbers with potential love interests so if it doesn’t work out, they won’t get bombarded with calls to their land lines.
But the rules of conventional relationships still apply in the online social dating world. Jeffrey Hall, lead researcher of a study on online dating, that was recently published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, recommended that online partnerships are unlikely to be any different to those formed through friends, school or work.
