Why do states like NH allow open carry of firearms?

But my State CT won’t, even though the carry permit I have in CT, says no where that the firearm must be concealed.

I know cops will charge breach of peace and then you have to wait endless years to get a hearing to get your permit back, and to date, no one has ever been actually charged, but they are still waiting to get a hearing.

Why is CT so uptight, but NH folks cool as the breeze?

Some states are just a bit more open minded I guess. Arizona is another great example of allowing open carry.
