		<description>You don&#039;t have to collect sales tax for any state until your sales get big enough.  &quot;&quot;Big enough&quot; is defined by your state so I would suggest you try your state&#039;s dept of revenue&#039;s web site.  Since you already know you don&#039;t have to collect for in-state sales, you probably already know this.

As far as collecting for other states, you don&#039;t until you apply to do business in that state and you don&#039;t have to do that until you become big enough for that state to care about.  Most small businesses don&#039;t come close, so you don&#039;t have to.  Instead, most states make the BUYER pay a tax called a &quot;Use Tax&quot;.  This tax is paid by the honor system as part of their individual state tax return.  If you want to see reference to that, check your own personal state tax return instruction book.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
