The Truth About Vertical Jump Training

There seems to be a lot of misinformation in the vertical jump training community.

This is seen in the numerous number of vertical jump programs that contain outdated, useless, information.

Most of these programs make you do a ridiculous amount of exercises and repetitions, which almost always leads to over-training.

These types of programs should be called “endurance programs” because they only build your endurance, not your vertical.

In fact, these programs may even decrease your vertical jump or worse, lead to fatigue and severe injuries.

The RIGHT way to increase your vertical jump is to build your strength and explosiveness through weight lifting and plyometrics.

Also, never train to the point of exhaustion.

The fewer the sets and reps, the better.
