I want to go to the Ventura beach to bbq and watch some fireworks from the beach and maybe camp out. Do you know if the Ventura Beach has this or a park with a beach. I don’t know where to take my family but I defenitly want to go to the beach and bbq.

the new friday the 13 movie? I think i will avoid the ventura movie, but as a tradition I’ll rent the 13 movie, even though I though they should have retired jason years ago.

I love baseball! Especially the Yankees! But my favorite player of all time is, Robin Ventura! I’ve followed his career since I was a kid, but kinda lost touch after his Yankee years. I know he played for the Dodgers for short period right be for retiring. What’s he doing now and how is he enjoying retirement? Thanks guys!

i’ve called around to everywhere, i thought for a mintute i was going to tell you if you wanted it in ventura county, you’d have to drive up state route 33 and into Ojai to find it, but its not even there!!! one place there (out of the several i called) recomended i try a butcher up in summerfield, which is the next county over (santa barbara) when i called them up, (summerland market, 2580 lillie ave, summerland, ca 93067 (805)969-5894 they didnt have any either!!!
sorry buddy, if you want some rabbit meat, you’re just going to have to resort to killing one yourself, or dive out of state, to good ol’ arizona where i’m sure you’ll find some just about anywhere.
as for me, i moved out of ventura county when i was 19. i lived in the ojai area, and loved ventura, and the giant thousand oaks mall for all its splendor and glory. (never been to the mall of america.)

if i were you, and i really, really wanted to find some in my area, go and ask around at farmers markets on sundays. somebody is bound to know a farmer that can get you what you want.
theres a great farmers market in ojai that meets a block behind the arcade shopping center, in a empty field. its your best bet! sorry about your luck!
wooleybooley has no idea theres almost no such thing as country-side in ventura county!! what little country side there is, is very nearby to residential housing, and you will likely get the cops called on your butt for shooting a gun! even if it was at a rabbit!!

Just like it’s spelled? Well, I’ve heard ‘ven-tour-uh" and "ven-choor-uh"…
It should be ven-tour-ah, since it comes from Spanish, but because it basically is the Spanish version of "venture", which most people pronounce "ven-choor", it gets pronounced "ven-choor-ah" as well.
I need to get to Ventura before 7:30pm and I need to know since its rush hour around that time, I live off the 60 in Diamond bar, there will be lots of traffic, is the 101 the best way to get there or can I take PCH?

I really get a kick out of his political views when he’s being interviewed. I think he’d win in a landslide running as an independant. I liked his one view especially… A 17 year old girl goes out partying, gets pregnant, and wants to live on welfare. His view, how is this the governments fault? And why should the government have to pay for your bad decisions.
Jesse Ventura would make a good representative in Congress, I just can’t see his views being the world’s views. I’d need to hear more about his foreign policies than what I read in his book. However, if it were between Jesse and Fred Thompson, I’d vote for Jesse. He’s actually more conservative, even for a wrestler!

Both are fun. Downtown Ventura has many nice restaurants and bars, plus nice shopping, antique stores. Ventura Harbor also has nice restaurants, from Greek, to Mexican, to seafood. There is a collection of funky shops there as well, plus at the end of the drive there is the Channel Islands Museum. You can also rent paddle boats at Ventura Harbor.
I live in moorpark california and i need to find a place to camp and shoot. Where is the closest place to ventura county?
