I want to have that job where you go around to hotels or businesses and you inspect them as an undercover hotel guest or shopper, i know of mystery shopping but for hotels it is something different. What is that job called and how do I get it?

I recently adopted a 2 year old GSD mix from the pound. My girlfriend and I often go away on weekends and stay in hotels. We do have family that is more than willing to sit him for us. However, we are planning a road trip and want him to come along. I have seen some hotels and motels that allow pets. Any particular brand of hotels that allow pets? He’s kennel kept at night and house broken. Any tips? suggestions? Knowledge of rules and regulations will be greatly appreciated.

My best friend and I are planning a trip to DC while we’re both home on Christmas break. We are both only 18, but we were considering staying down there for a night so we can get more sightseeing in. I’ve recently been to a few hotels while traveling and started to wonder how they keep their showers from fluctuating in temperature and pressure. At home, if anybody turns on or off faucets around the house, the showers at my house would change in temperature and pressure. How do hotels manage to prevent the effect of others taking showers or using other water appliances from affecting my own room? Are there any solutions in hardware stores for the home owner?
hotels use a pump to increase and maintain water pressure, once the building pressure falls below a certain point the pump comes on and pressurizes a tank, and by pressurizing the tank, the pump can shut off for periods of time until the tank pressure falls to a certain point then the pump comes on and builds pressure once again. and in high usage scenarios, the pump will stay on. and this will also aid in constant temp, because in your home, if you are taking a shower and someone turns on the hot water, you will notice a temp change because the pressure in you house isnt able to sustain 2 or more appliances without creating a large drop in pressure in the pipes.

Of course, what instantly comes to mind is a bunch of people jumping up and down, waving their arms in the air, yelling obscenities in your general direction as you run out onto the street.
Then they come to their senses and quiet down and chase you down the street until they catch you. They then twist your arm and you yell "Uncle!" and pay them.
How to book hotels in taichung and taipei if I am not a taiwanese?
Seems most hotels in taiwan requires the taiwanese identity card to register for reservation of hotels.
Can I just walk in when I reach the cities? Would there be a situation where there are no rooms?

I and some of my friends are planning to hold a small get together party. But we want it in a hotel with swimming pool and spa amenities. We are planning to spend one whole day or night in that hotel where we could use the pool and have some massage service or sauna maybe. We are looking for hotels that can accommodate our small group – maybe 5-8 people. Our budget is not so posh. Less than 5k is really good. Any hotel that you know of? I understand that they need copyrights to the movies they are selling, but is there some kind of services(like DirecTV’s pay per view) that already has copyrights to different movies that they purchase for or from? Hotels offer in room movie purchases that are still in theaters. How can they do that or what services are they with??
There are several companies that provide this service for hotels. Generally, it looks like the video service company provides both the the hardware to run the service (a central server in the hotel and in room devices) and the content for the service (through licenses with movie studios and such).

I am planning a trip to the US. If I decide to book both my hotels and flights on Orbitz or expedia, is it cheaper to do it together, as compared to booking flights and then booking hotels?
