What is the largest hotel room in the Golden Moon Hotel and Casino?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

It is located in Choctaw, Ms a Native American Tribe.
Would anyone happen to know what is the largest hotel room in the Golden Moon Casino? and what is in the rooms and the average rates for Fridays.

I have stayed there several times and the largest hotel room there is the VIP Presidential suite. I would say that the average weekend rate would be about $450.00

How do I get from BP Hotel to HongKong Disneyland Hollywood Hotel?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

We’re staying at Tsim Sha Tsui and would like to have breakfast at the Disney Hollywood hotel before going to the park. How do we get there?

Just take the MTR (subway system in Hong Kong) to Disneyland Resort station.

Two Options:
1.If you know the location of Kowloon Station, then go there and ride the Tung Chung Line trains to Tung Chung.
2. From Tsim Sha Tsui Station, take the Tsuen Wan Line train to Tsuen Wan. Alight at Lai King Station, and from there, take the Tung Chung Line train to Tung Chung.

After doing either one of the two options I’ve posted, be sure to alight at Sunny Bay Station (it’s the second-to-the-last station on the Tung Chung Line, just before the terminus). Then change trains again and ride the Disneyland Resort Line. It will take you to Disneyland right away. The two hotels (HK Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel) are near the park.

What is a good hotel that is close to many of Los Angeles Attractions?

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

I am going on a trip to California with some friends and I want to know what hotel, or what area of Los Angeles is close to the following places… I know alot of these may be very far apart, but if there is any area or hotel closer to most of them it would be greatly appreciated. Disneyland, the Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, Paramount Studios, Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, Griffith Observatory, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. These are just some ideas of places we are going to go, but once someone gives me a good central area or hotel to stay in, I can figure it all out using a map.

So to sum it up: I need a hotel, or an area of Los Angeles that is close to most of these places, if possible.

Thanks!

No single Hotel is going to be close to all of these. LA is really spread out. However, places like Hollywood, West Hollywood, Glendale, Studio City, Burbank areas will put you close to a lot and about equal distance between the others.
Close To: Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, Paramount Studio’s and Griffith Observatory.

The rest are about 30-40 miles away(45-60+minutes with traffic):
Six Flags Magic Mountain is Valenica which is North.

Aquarium of the Pacific is in Long Beach South/SouthWest of the Hollywood Area.

Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are in Orange County that is South/South East of Hollywood.

What is the best family hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia?

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

I am taking my family of 5 on vacation to Williamsburg & need to find a hotel that’s family oriented with indoor pool ,but also close to everything,(busch gardens, watercountry, williamsburg, jamestown & yorktown). Also, maybe hotel with breakfast buffet or close to other restaurants.

You might want to stay at two different hotels. We stayed at the Woodlands when we were just seeing Colonial Williamsburg. It is next door to the visitors center and there are lots of buses back and forth to Colonial Williamsburg (you cannot park in Colonial Williamsburg). It has a free breakfast and lots of families with kids of all ages. No pool, but you are spending the day in Colonial Williamsburg. You can also get a special rate on your admission ticket and a dinner meal plan that really saves a lot of money.
Jamestown is just a day trip.

What is the best way to get a hotel from an airport without using a rental car?

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

My wife and I are planning a trip to Orlando. We want to visit all Disney Parks and Seaworld. I found a Hotel that gives free shuttles to all those destinations, but the Hotel is like 20 miles away from the airport. I don’t want to pay for a rental car for a week and half just to use to get-to-and-from the airport and Hotel.

Usually hotels have a free shuttle that can take you from the airport to the hotels. If that isn’t an option, there are usually independent shuttle services that can take you as well which are cheaper than taxis. I believe reservations ahead of time are necessary but at least it will be cheaper and more convenient for your family.

What is the most convenient hotel to Disneyland in Anaheim?

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

BESIDES the Disneyland Hotel. Something good for kids, in walking distance of the main gate or a close shuttle that runs frequently. Want to make sure we have the most time possible at the park! Bonus points for a hotel close enough to see the fireworks at night-time.

The Carousel Inn and The Tropicana Inn are both right across the street from Disneyland, making them probably the closest in walking distance. I’ve never stayed in either, but my mom and sister stayed in the Tropicana, and they liked it (and my mom is somewhat picky about her hotels, so that says something). =]

There’s also the Candy Cane Inn, which I liked. It’s in walking distance, but they also have a shuttle bus to Disneyland that runs about every 20 min (and it’s one that parks fairly close to the main gate).

All three hotels have a pool and a complimentary continental breakfast. You can probably see the fireworks from most hotels, as long as they’re nearby. We could see them from our balcony at Candy Cane last time we stayed there. You can also see them from Downtown Disney. Make sure you watch the fireworks in the park at least once though to get the full experience!

There are lots of other hotels near Disneyland, but these are the ones that came to mind. FYI, some of the other hotels will advertise as being "right next to Disneyland" but they are really a few long blocks away, so watch out! =]
